MHADA received big bunch of applications for 972 flats in Mumbai lottery 2016. On an average, 119 applications received for a single tenements that Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) is selling under MHADA lottery 2016 in Mumbai.
This average is expected to go up as the final figure of total applications with paid deposits comes in.

The process for registrations, online payment, submitting demand draft etc has been closed and 27 July was the last day for payments by Demand Draft.
According to the source, total 1,69,702 applications received for MHADA lottery 2016, of which deposit were made for 1,15,751 application.
The source said that “As per the trend, people do not pay deposit amount for all the applications filled. There are various reasons like they falling short of funds, filling of wrong or additional forms, etc.”
However, the final figure of total deposits-applications received is likely to touch around 1,25,000. “The final figure will be available only on Thursday morning as various branches of banks will collate the data and then share it with us,” the spokesperson said.
The draft list of accepted applications will be available on 5th August 2016 at the official website of MHADA and the final list of applications will be published on 8th August 2016.
The lottery draw for MHADA lottery 2016 in Mumbai will be held on 10 August 2016 at Rangsharda Auditorium at Bandra Reclamation. And the unsuccessful applicant will start receiving their refund amount after 10 days from the lottery draw.
