Union Ministry of Urban Housing has sanctioned 6419 affordable houses for poor and middle income group of Ratlam in Madhya Pradesh. And the amount for the construction of these housing units has also been sanctioned.
Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana MP, 1312 EWS houses and 336 LIG houses sanctioned for Dosi Gaon with the worth of Rs. 180.52 crore. Besides this 2184 EWS houses and 1104 houses with the worth of Rs. 285.53 crore has also been sanctioned for Banjali in Ratlam, MP.
For the construction of EWS in 300 square feet area, central and state government will provide an assistance to the beneficiary.
Apart from this, the central government has also approved 1483 houses for Ishwarnagar, Bajrang Nagar, Viriyakheri for the government will spend around 54.58 crore. Under BLS Yojana, land will be provided to the beneficiaries on lease. Through this scheme, Municipal Corporation will provide 5-6 designs of houses from which beneficiary can choose the one as per on their choice. These architecture of houses would be the size of 286 square feet or 26.61 square meter land. For the development of houses under the scheme, an assistance of 2.5 lakh will be provided to the beneficiary by central and state government.
