Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana demand survey in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh has been started to benefit the poor people by providing them shelter who have no house. Demand survey application form under PMAY is now available only for Dhampur City situated at Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh. UP government has issued a notification on the matter of PMAY Uttar Pradesh.
To make the PMAY scheme successful, government has started a demand survey to find PMAY list of beneficiaries so that they can be provided houses.
Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana
After the strict action of centre, former SP government sent the list of beneficiaries found eligible under Ram Manohar Lohia Awas Yojana. These beneficiaries has also been included in pmay beneficiaries list.
It is a chance for those people who are willing to apply for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for getting subsidy on the purchase of home.
The target of PMAY Bijnor has been increased by six time compared to earlier target which help in covering the demand of houses in the area. Beneficiary household will be provided financial assistance of Rs. 1.20 lakh for enhancing or constructing the house. This amount will be transferred in three installments as follow.
Installments for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana
- First Installment – Rs. 40,000/-
- Second Installment – Rs. 70,000/-
- Third Installment – Rs. 10,000/-
The installment amount will directly transferred in the beneficiary’s bank account on various construction stage of house. And Under MGNREGA (Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act), an amount of Rs. 15,000/- will also be provided to the beneficiary as a wages for constructing their own house.
