State government of Rajasthan has started the sale of application form for house and flats under Mukhya Mantri Jan Awas Yojana Rajasthan under Housing for All mission. Registrations for affordable houses in Balotra under Jan Awas Yojana has been started from 24 April 2017.

Applications are being invited from economical weaker section, lower income group and middle income group of the society for flats and houses located very close to housing board.

Rajasthan affordable housing scheme under MMJAY has offering total 716 flats and houses of which, 269 houses are reserved for EWS, 311 houses for CIG or LIG and remaining 136 are available for MIG category.

  • MIG – 136 Houses

Besides, the development agencies are constructing 2350 houses at the same location under the scheme for weaker sections.

How to Apply
The process of filling application form for houses under Rajasthan Jan Awas Yojana has been started from today and application form for registration can be obtained from the associated bank branches of Axis Banks by paying the cost. After completing the form in all respect, it should be submitted in same bank branches along with the registration amount.

Registration amount to be submitted in form of Demand Draft (DD) in favor of Nagar Parishad Balotra before the last 24 May 2017.

Application forms are available in the associated bank branches of Axis Bank located at:

  • Balotra
  • Barmer
  • Jodhpur

Eligibility Criteria:
The applicant who is willing to apply for the scheme must follow the required eligibility.

  • The age of applicant should be 18 years.
  • The applicant should be a resident of Rajasthan.
  • The Annual income of EWS applicant should be less than Rs. 3 lakh.
  • LIG applicant’s annual income should be in between Rs. 3 lakh to Rs. 6 lakh.
  • MIG applicant’s annual income should be more than Rs. 6 lakh.

In this scheme, central government will provide an assistance of Rs. 1.50 lakh to EWS applicants under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Housing for All Scheme. Along with this, an arrangement of home loan will also be made by the government and a subsidy will also be provided on the loan amount of Rs. 2.0 lakh to 2.40 lakh.

Allotment Process:
The housing units in the scheme are being constructed by the development agencies and possession of these units will be provided within 2 years.
