Chandigarh Housing Board is going to conduct a demand survey under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) “Housing for All-Urban” scheme to find the estimate of affordable houses which to be constructed under the scheme. The demand survey will be carried out from EWS and LIG households living in Chandigarh urban areas for credit linked subsidy and affordable flats in Chandigarh.

As per the eligibility, the EWS households should have an annual income upto Rs. 3,00,000/- and LIG households should have an annual income between Rs. 3,00,001/- and Rs. 6,00,000/-. The Candidate falls in the eligibility would be eligible to participate in the PMAY Chandigarh Demand Survey.
The Credit linked subsidy component of PMAY would benefit the eligible people living in Chandigarh Urban areaby providing them an interest subsidy @ 6.5% on Rs. 6 lacs for new the construction of new houses and for the enhancement of existing one.
The carpet of house to be constructed or enhanced under the scheme should be 30 square meters and 60 square meters for EWS and LIG respectively and construction/enhancement is as per byelaws/rules applicable in Chandigarh.
For the implementation of the mission, Chandigarh Housing Board has been selected as State Level Nodal Agency (SLNA) for Chandigarh to benefits the identified eligible beneficiaries in getting approvals and documents etc. to avail this credit linked subsidy.
Only those EWS household would be eligible for affordable housing component of PMAY demand survey who are living in chandigarh as on 17-06-2015. These household would be enabled to get benefits of affordable Housing in partnership & individual house enhancement and applicant should also have Aadhar Card/Voter Identity Card and having no house/residential plot anywhere in India.
The application form demand Survey can be obtained from the Reception Counter of Chandigarh Housing Board, Block-C, Sector 9- D, Chandigarh at a cost of Rs.10/- (Rupees ten only). It can also be downloaded from www.chbonline.in.

Period of submission of Demand survey form alongwith Rs.10/- as registration fee in the shape of postal order shall extend from 20.3.2017 to 20.4.2017. However, the applicants who upload their forms on the PMAY-MIS Portal are not required to deposit the registration fee of Rs.10/-.
