Latest Update: DDA Housing Scheme 2016 Announced for 13148 Flats
Now the authority is going to put their full efforts for fulfilling the demand of houses in Delhi. After the completions of the last year housing scheme, DDA is now going to launch its new housing scheme for the year 2016. The upcoming housing scheme of DDA would be much larger than the 2014, the scheme would be launched with 60,000 flats. It would be the biggest housing scheme of DDA ever launched.
As per the earlier news, the scheme would be launched with more than 35,000 flats but now it is official declared by the source that the DDA Housing Scheme 2016 will be launched with 60,000 flats.
According to the source the construction of 20,000 flat have been completed while the large concentration of 40,000 flats are under construction and likely to be completed by the end of the year 2016.
According to the officials of DDA, the flats under the scheme would be constructed in Dwarka, Rohini, Narela and Bakkarwala apart from Vasant Kunj, Sheikh Sarai, Defence Colony and Kalkaji. The high concentration of these flats would be constructed in Rohini, followed by Dwarka and Narela.
Most of these flats would be of 1BHK type which would be on offer for Economical Weaker Section of the society. Apart from EWS flats, the authority will also include LIG, MIG and HIG flats in its upcoming housing scheme for the year 2016.
Last year, the authority had launched its scheme named as DDA Housing Scheme 2016 in which they had offered 25034 flats for different segments of the society.
