Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in Ghaziabad is going to benefit the poor people the city as the Ghaziabad Development Authority will build over 15,000 homes under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Ghaziabad. A survey for identifying the land and process of implementation is under process. Officials are studying the implementation process and term policy of other states being for the scheme to form the clear guidelines for the scheme in Ghaziabad.
A meeting was organised on the matter preparing the PMAY project implementation process and guidelines will soon be released.
GDA Ghaziabad Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana
As per the proposal, the area of EWS and LIG under PMAY Ghaziabad would be 30 square meter and 47 square meter respectively. Due to the small size, design of houses would be made in the way which felt the people more and more comfortable instead of suffocation. And four to five design has been prepared for the same.
As per the information received from the source, about 1 lakh houses will be made available in Uttar Pradesh as the state government has set a target of constructing that much houses. These homes would be built by Uttar Pradesh Awas Vikas Parishad. And It is expected that the GDA Ghaziabad will construct about 15000 houses in Ghaziabad.
The task of identifying the land and estimates for constructing the house has been started and notification will be released soon on the matter to start the related work.
