Installments amount for Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana (PMAY-G) has been changed and these changes are only made in Unnao, Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh) by implementation department of PMAY but the installment amount and number of isntallments would be same as earlier.
PMAY-G Installments
Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin, the government is providing an assistance of Rs. 1.20 lakh to beneficiary for construction/enhancement of house. PMAY is a modified or renewed version of Indira Awas Yojana under which 70,000 were provided to the beneficiary but after the change amount increased to 1.20 lakh.
Earlier, the beneficiaries from Unnao were provided assistance of 1.20 lakh under PMAY in 3 equal installments but now first, second and third installment amount has been changed as given below:

Regional development authority of Unnao has set a target of constructing 12,145 homes for poor which to be made available by end of financial year 2017-18. Of total, about 7,719 houses will be provided to candidates belonging to SC and remaining 4,599 houses will be provided to the applicants of General & OBC category & people from minority.
