New Year 2017, will come up with a big housing scheme of Jodhpur Development Authority. According to the news published in a newspaper, Jodhpur Development Authority is ready to launch a new housing scheme under Mukhya Mantri Jan Awas Yojana for 5960 houses. These houses will be constructed in five different sites of JDA Jodhpur.
JDA will construct 21,140 houses under Mukhya Mantri Jan Awas Yojana in Tanawara and five other sites with the held of private companies. Of total, 13,102 houses will be available for Economical Weaker Section and remaining 8,038 flats will be offered for lower income group of the society.
Locations, where these houses will be constructed are: Tanawara, Paldi Khichiyan, Lordi Pandit Ji, Badli and Chokha.
A bidding process for the construction of houses has been started and the work will begin in the start of year 2017. According to the source, JDA Jodhpur has targeted to construct 45,000 houses for EWS which will be available by the end of year 2017.
The size of housing unit in the scheme will be available in the size of 325 square feet for EWS. The cost of EWS housing unit is Rs. 3.90 lakh of which 1.50 lakh will be refunded to the applicant as a subsidy under PM Awas Yojana. The size of LIG unit will be 500 square feet which will cost Rs. 6.00 lakh. And a loan at affordable interest rate will be available for EWS unit.
Applications are being invited for recently launched Tanawara Phase-I Awasiya Yojana through offline process and around 3220 applications has also been received by JDA Jodhpur. Under the scheme, 560 flats are being offered for allotment for which allotment will be done through a lottery process.
Online application for Pradhan Mantri Jan Awas Yojana has been started and a flat would be given to the applicant who will register for the scheme. However, JDA Jodhpur has not received any guidelines for the same.
