Old Age Pension Scheme and Handicapped Pension Scheme in Haryana benefiting the old-age and divyangs across the state respectively. And the government is working towards improving the distribution system of the old age pension and handicapped pension in Haryana. The government is undertaking the plan of delivering pension to the old-age and divyangs at their doorstep.
Old Age Pension Scheme & Handicapped Pension Scheme
As the old age pension and handicapped pension scheme is running across the state and to improve the distribution system, the government has directed the Social Justice and Empowerment Department to prepare a plan for distribute pensions at the pensioners doorsteps. And the department has also been directed for including old-age pension and divyang pension under the Right to Service Act.
The directions were issued on the basis of issues and suggestions came up in various rounds of meeting which Chief Minister Manohar Lal had with district officers and public representatives during his visit to district Jind last week.
As some of beneficiaries of old age pension and divyang pension scheme wanted their pension to be delivered at home and keep the issue the mind, the direction had been given to prepare the scheme to provide this service to them.
With a view to ensure that the new applicants of old age pension and divyang pension scheme do not face any difficulty in getting themselves enrolled, these should be included as a service under the Right to Service Act.
For these types of scheme, online services to facilitate the beneficiaries should also be made by the government.
