Finally the date has been decided for conducting a door to door survey for the selecting the beneficiaries under Central government’s Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Roorkee Nagar Nigam will start a survey from 2 January 2017 to selecting the genuine beneficiaries for PM Awas Yojana.
On the matter of Survey for PM Awas Yojana in Roorkee, a meeting was organised in between area counsellors on Monday. The main moto of the meeting was to decided date to start a survey of the scheme. After a survey, the officials informed about the date.
The official informed that, the families who are living in the area before 17 June 2015 would be able to fill application form for PM Awas Yojana to get the benefits of the scheme.
As per the information, A survey would be conducted 2 to 8 January in Ward No 1-10; 9 to 16 January in Ward No. 11-20 and 17 to 23 January in Ward No. 21-28. To fill the application form under the survey, the candidate would have to submit Aadhar Card,. Ration Card, Bank Pass Book, Photocopy of Family Member’s Aadhar Card, An affidavit with Rs. 10 stamp and two colourful passport size photograph. Along with these documents, the applicant should also have to submit residential certificate created before 17 June 2015.
The source informed that the people who have an annual income of below Rs. 3 lakh will get an assistance of Rs. 1.25 lakh to Rs. 1.50 lakh. And the people having annual income in between Rs. 3 lakh to Rs. 6 lakh will be able to get the benefits of Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme under PM Awas Yojana. Under the component, a home loan upto Rs. 6 lakh would be provided to the beneficiary for 15 years on which a discount of Rs. 2.15 lakh would be provided by the government.
