PM Kisan Yojana 2024: The Government of India has announced Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in interim budget 2019. P M Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PMKSN) is a scheme for the small and marginal farmer of the country. Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana has launched to provide financial help to the poor farmers.

PM-Kisan Yojana aims to supplement the financial needs of the SMFs in procuring various inputs to ensure proper crop health and appropriate yields, commensurate with the anticipated farm income at the end of the each crop cycle.
Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana scheme the government will provide Rs. 6000/- annual help to poor farmers so that they can use this money for their needs. The amount of Rs. 6000 will be given in 3 installments of Rs. 2000/-
All the farmers irrespective of their land holding / ownership can avail assistance under PM Kisan Yojana 2020. PM-Kisan Yojana is centrally sponsored with almost 100% funding from Government of India. All the beneficiaries of PM Kiasn Samman Yojana would be covered under Kisan Credit Card (KCC) scheme. This announcement is made by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in Budget 2020-21.
