State government will construct about 11 lakh houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Chhattisgarh for weaker segments of the society including, EWS (economical weaker section) and LIG (lower income group). The scheme will benefit those people who will fall under the eligibility criteria of PMAY-Housing for All Scheme. Besides, the government will also construct additional 2.416 affordable flats in Raipur.

The construction of these housing units will bridge up the demand of housing in the area and construction will be done on basis of availability of land.
PMAY-Housing for All Chhattisgarh
- About 2 lakh affordable houses will be made available in the current financial year for eligible applicants of PMAY Chhattisgarh.
- Total 2,416 flats under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in Raipur will also be constructed of which 1,472 will be available for EWS flats and remaining 944 flats will be reserved for LIG category.
