Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is being implemented in Napur for providing houses to poor at very affordable rate. As per the information, houses to weaker segments and backward classes will provided at Rs. 2.5 lakh. The scheme will help in the changing the living style of poor.

A plan has been created for providing houses at affordable price and 50 thousand houses will be constructed by 2019 and for the first phase, the government has got the approval for constructing 10 thousand houses.

The state and centre government will create the plan of providing affordable houses to poor at affordable rate with the help of Road Transport and Highways and Shipping minster Nitin Gadkari.
Sources informed that the minimum cost in constructing a single unit is about Rs. 6 lakh. Earlier, it was informed by the source the house will be available at the cost of Rs. 3.0 lakh while it is recently informed that the cost of a single unit might be Rs. 2.50 lakh.
Special plan will be created for slum area where 50 to 60 families are spending their lives which may be covered in the scheme if they demand for affordable housing.
