Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Housing for All by 2022 Online Application Forms : Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is a central government housing programme aimed at providing housing for all by 2022. The implementation progress of PMAY-HFA is on boost and state government and development authorities providing their full support in the construction of houses under PM Awas Yojana in Urban and Gramin areas.

Sub-Schemes of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana:

PMAY-Housing for All by 2022 launched to overcome the shortage of housing across the nation by providing houses to people belongs to weaker section, backward categories, living in slums and don’t have house.

The main purpose of PM Awas Yojana is to improve the livelihood of BPL families and BPL refers to Below Poverty Line. Categories like EWS (Economical Weaker Section), LIG (Lower Income Group), BPL and MIG (Middle Income Group).

Central government of India will construct around 20 million or 2 crore houses in Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) and other implementing agencies through States/UTs. The scheme has four major components under which Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is being implemented in Urban and Rural area. These Components are as following:

  • PMAY-HFA Component-1: In-situ Rehabilitation of existing slum dwellers using land as a resource through private participation
  • PMAY-HFA Component-2: Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme (CLSS Loan Scheme)
  • PMAY-HFA Component-3: Affordable Housing in Partnership
  • PMAY-HFA Component-4: Subsidy for Beneficiary-led Individual House Construction or Enhancement.

Through “In-situ Slum Redevelopment” the central government is providing a grant of Rs. 1 Lakh on an average to every eligible beneficiary.

Through “Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme”, the government is providing interest subsidy on the home loan taken by the beneficiary for construction of new house or enhancement of old house. Subsidy rates are different for different categories. The government has increased the home loan tenure for Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme from 15 years to 20 years.

In “AHP”, the government in connecting with private development to encourage the affordable housing in both rural and urban area. Under this component, the developer and builders will construct affordable houses in their project and 35 percent of dwelling units of the projects will be reserved for EWS category.

Under Beneficiary Led Construction or Enhancement, a central assistance of Rs. 1.50 lakhs will be provided to eligible beneficiary for build new house or undertake improvements of existing houses.

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Eligibility Criteria

  • The age of applicant should be in between 21 to 55 years.
  • Women, People belonging to Scheduled Casts(SC), People belonging to Scheduled Tribes(ST), Economically weaker section(EWS), would only be eligible to get benefits of the scheme.
  • Applicant belongs to EWS or LIG category needs to verify their documents by submitting self-certificate or Affidavit as proof of Income.

    • Rs. 3 Lakh per annum for EWS applicants
    • Rs. 6 Lakh per annum for LIG applicants

Eligible applicants can apply for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana by simply filling application form and paying the fees of online applications. There are two ways by using which applicants can fill Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana online application.

Step-1: Open the official website for http://pmaymis.gov.in runs by Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation for online works of PMAY.

Step-2: Now go to Menu Bar and click on “Citizen Application” Link and then select the appropriate link for PMAY online application.

Step-3: After a click on above links, an application form will be opened in which applicants will have to fill all the mandatory information such as details of head of family, current residential address and contact details, permanent address, details of the saving bank account, employment & income details and more.

After the completion of all mandatory filed you can save your application form by a click. The “Save” button is at the end of application form.

Apply Online for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) Urban Through CSC

Online Application Form for PMAY-Urban through Common Service Centers: The procedure of filing online application form through CSC centers is very easy. For the same, you can visit the nearest common service center in urban areas. Around 2 lakh CSC centers are active across the nation, of which 60,000 are enable to fill online applications for PM Awas Yojana.

Through PMAY e-KYC, online application can be filled easy. In this process, online applications for PMAY is being verified by through e-KYC (Know Your Client) by checking the details of applicants.

The cost of submitting PMAY online application form is Rs. 25/-. CSC Centers will provide acknowledgement receipt of the online application of PMAY in print form. The acknowledgement receipt will have applicant’s photograph and a unique application ID which will further help tracking the status of application.

Aadhar card is a mandatory documents to apply online for PMAY. In case of not having an Aadhar card, CSC will also help the applicants in getting Aadhar card.
