PMAY Uttar Pradesh – Funds Being Transferred to 6150 Beneficiaries

Central government has given its approval for the construction of 6150 houses in Mau under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Uttar Pradesh. After the shutter-down of Lohia Awas Yojana, the poor people identified in SECC-2011 in Uttar Pradesh can get the benefits from PM Awas Yojana.

Around 6150 beneficiaries identified under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana UP and an amount of 40-40 thousand rupees will be transferred in their bank accounts for constructing houses and three installment of same amount will be given to these beneficiaries later.

The central government set-up a target of constructing of 3500 houses for financial year 2016-17 for the department had created the list of beneficiaries under SECC-2011. Centre has transferred the assistance (Rs. 1.20 lakh for each beneficiary) to the state government.

Installment for PMAY uttar Pradesh Beneficiaries

After sanctioning the list of eligible applicants, the divisional development officer will sent the first installment and after lying down the foundation of house the second installment will be transferred. The amount of second installment will be used for developing wall for roof (lentar) and after uploading a photo of complete walls the third installment for roof (lentar) will be transferred by the government.

Besides, an assistance for constructing toilet will also be provided to the beneficiaries of PM Awas Yojana.
