Registrations for DDA Housing Scheme 2016-17 May Get Delayed

The upcoming housing scheme 2016-2017 of Delhi Development Authority may get delayed due to the incomplete work of road, parks, water supply ans shopping complex etc.

The source informed that DDA Housing Scheme 2017 registration may get a delay of around one or two months. The launch of the scheme was scheduled for around January 26, but the DDA official made it clear that the applications for flat in DDA New Housing Scheme 2016-17 will be rolled out till the completion of infrastructure development and facilities such as parks, water supply, and shopping complexes.

The announcement of the scheme was made in the month of November without any registration period. It was said by the official that the registration would be rolled out in the end December or in the start of January but now, the officials confirming that application may get a delay of around one month.

In DDA Housing Scheme 2017, 13,148 flats would be available for allotment at locations such as Sarita Vihar, Jasola, Dwarka, Pitampura, Sukhdev Vihar, Narela, Rohini, Jahangirpuri, Loknayakpuram, Dilshad Garden, Paschim Vihar, Bindapur and Mukherjee Nagar.

The DDA Official added that the scheme may be delayed further for a month. But weekly meetings are being convened to keep a check on redevelopment work going on in various housing complexes to attract prospective buyers. The officials are monitoring each and every development. Nothing has been finalised yet. Status is checked in weekly meetings. Priority is to remove anomalies. Only then will we launch the scheme.
