UIT Udaipur to Build 5000 Flats Under Mukhyamantri Jan Awas Yojana Rajstahan

Rajasthan state government will construct around 5,000 housing units under the ambitious housing scheme known as Mukhyamnatri Jan Awas Yojana. The construction work of these flats will be done by Urban Improvement Trust of Udiapur for the work has been started.

Under UIT Udaipur Mukhyamantri Jan Awas Yojana, flats would be available for economical weaker section (EWS) at north Udaipur area, Rajasthan.

Urban Improvement Trust Secretary, Ramnivas Mehta said that the area has been selected for the construction of these housing units under MMJAY Rajasthan. Besides this, the engineers have also been directed to create a proper layout plan for the clear construction of flats under UIT Udaipur hosing scheme 2017.

The allotment of these flats would be done through a process of lottery, the registration for flats will soon be rolled out.

Ravindra Shremali, the chairman of Urban Improvement Trust informed that the UIT has recently released a scheme for 640 EWS flats and now we are planning to construct around 512 houses for lower income group (LIG) under Mukhyamnatri Jan Awas Yojana.

The task of construction work of these flats would be completed by the end of year 2019.
