Greater Mohali Area Development Authority or GMADA is the governing body of Punjab Government. Its main responsibility is to bring new development schemes for residential, commercial and industrial development in the city of Mohali.
- The authority is responsible for planning and execution of world class infrastructure development schemes including residential, commercial and industrial.
- To build the outer ring roads across the city.
- To coordinate with various authorities and governing bodies for the approval and implementation of the proposals of the master plans.
