SMC: Surat Municipal Corporation CM Housing Scheme for EWS & LIG at Surat

Surat Municipal Corporation will come up with its new housing scheme named as CM Housing Scheme Phase-II at Surat and SMC has all set to launch it. Total 5565 residential houses will on offer for Economical Weaker Section (EWS) & Lower Income Group of the society under SMC new scheme.

It is the second phase of CM Housing Scheme; in the first phase 960 houses were allotted to EWS (Economical Weaker Section) and rest of 4635 flats was allotted to (Lower Income Group) LIG Category. The allotment of first phase flats has been done but the allotees are still waiting for their possession. And In first phase SMC has received a great response from EWS & LIG applicants. With the great response from public for first Phase, SMC has decided to launch the second phase of the scheme for EWS & LIG.

SMC will invite applications from 15 April’2015 onwards and the application form will be available at different branches of ICICI Bank at free of cost. Application Form will available at bank branches only for four days and the time period for purchasing and submitting the application would be too short.

Applicant needs to be very active to avail the golden opportunity of SMC Housing Scheme otherwise they will lose the chance to buy a flat. SMC has made an arrangement with the Banks to receive the duly filled application form with required document and deposit amount and bank will not charge a rupees for this purpose.
